Last month, Bourne Media sent footage via FTP to TED for a TEDx Demo that was to debut at TED India. Just when we were wondering what became of that footage, we got news of a new post at You Tube. In Mysore at TEDIndia yesterday, Lara Stein of the TED conference debuted a new video from TED explaining the independently organized TEDx program. TED contacted us at TEDxAsheville for material last month, and the new TED video includes images, animation and footage from last summer’s TEDxAsheville event at the Orange Peel.

Bourne Media founder, David Bourne, has recently returned from a week with Mission MANNA in Haiti. The trip/project blog “Consider Haiti” proved successful as a tool for raising awareness for the trip and for the medical mission.
The first round of still photos has been posted, and the video post-production is underway. This was the second trip for Bourne Media; the first was in the Fall of 2006.
