Back from Haiti (Again)
Bourne Media founder, David Bourne, has recently returned from a week with Mission MANNA in Haiti. The trip/project blog “Consider Haiti” proved successful as a tool for raising awareness for the trip and for the medical mission.
The first round of still photos has been posted, and the video post-production is underway. This was the second trip for Bourne Media; the first was in the Fall of 2006.
“Wild and Free” in Boston’s LE 60 Film Festival
“Wild and Free: a Screech Owl Named Pinkey” has been selected to be in the Lumen Eclipse 60 film festival in Boston, MA. It was shot, edited and post-produced by Bourne Media. Little Pearls produced and directed it.

“A Call to Action” Premieres in NYC at HBO Theater
“A Call to Action”, edited, co-written, and co-executive produced by Bourne Media, premiered on January 31st at the HBO Theater in Manhattan.

The 40 minute documentary concerns the non-profit voter registration organization, HeadCount. The HeadCount team has registered more than sixty thousand people at concerts in the Jam Band scene, and they plan to be a major force for social action within the live music community.
