Mike Marshall and Hamilton De Hollanda:
Master mandolinist, Mike Marshall and the Adventure Music Label have released a double CD/DVD album that features video from Bourne Media. On the DVD, Marshall teams up with Hamilton de Hollanda, who is an extremely talented Brazilian bandolin player. The two play extraordinarily well together, Marshall calling de Hollanda his “Brother… from WAY down south”. The video collection was done in conjunction with Concerts4Charity and Villasonica.
After The Storm:
Bourne Media shot and edited this production for Little Pearls. Both videos are a response to the US reaction to Hurricane Katrina. After the Storm challenges viewers by juxtaposing part of the poem found on the Statue of Liberty with Katrina news footage. After the Storm: Compassion, Wisdom, Change is a 3:13 minute response given by five Americans who seek change.
Why Drive When You Can Ride?: (11 M Windows Media file)
First Place Winner of the WNC’s Land-of-Sky Regional Council: Strive Not to Drive, 2005, Independent Category. It also won First Place in Audience Choice; Best Message Category. Sayworks.com provided creative talent. It was written and produced by Bourne Media.
The Hemlock Project:
This ongoing project seeks to raise awareness of the hemlock wooly adelgid issue that threatens Appalachian hemlock trees. It is shot in HD (high definition) video.
Headcount: “Midterms Matter” Video
Bourne Media and Concerts4Charity team up for a “get out the vote” promotional video for the jamband outreach organization, Headcount.
