The 40 minute documentary concerns the non-profit voter registration organization, HeadCount. The HeadCount team has registered more than sixty thousand people at concerts in the Jam Band scene, and they plan to be a major force for social action within the live music community.

Artists featured in the documentary include Trey Anastasio (Phish, Trey Anastasio Band), Dave Matthews, Bela Fleck, Warren Haynes, Michael Franti, Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Reid Genauer, Jeff Coffin (of The Flecktones), O.A.R., Medeski Martin and Wood, STS9, Galactic. HeadCount board members Bob Weir, Al Schnier (from moe.) and Marc Brownstein (of The Disco Biscuits) make major contribution to the story.

Special thanks go out to Christopher Gaspar, the producer and creative director of the project, and also to Concerts4Charity’s Kaleem Clarkson, HeadCount’s Andy Bernstein, and Asheville’s David Schmidt of Acapella Audio.

Bournemedia chooses blip.tv as the media server and distributor for Mission Manna’s promotional media.

Mission Manna will now be able to host and promote video and audio over the Internet by using both the MissionManna.org website and the blip.tv channel found at MissionManna.blip.tv.

This example shows a the channel posted within a web page. The media is served from blip.tv and can be posted on any supporter’s blog or website.

Supporters of Mission Manna are now able to subscribe to podcasts via iTunes and other media feeders.

Headcount, Concerts4Charity, and Bourne Media have teamed up on the documentary, “Headcount: A Call to Action“.

A full length feature comes this Fall.

In its ongoing relationship with Little Pearls, Bourne Media announces the completion of “Wild and Free: a Screech Owl Named Pinkey”.

Bourne Media shot and edited the main “pearl” and three of the four “companion pieces”. The fourth video was shot by Clyde Hollifield, Pinkey’s wildlife rehabilitator.

Bourne Media is currently in production on a DVD that will include “Wild and Free” and all of the Little Pearls videos.

Filmed at the Savannah Music Festival in March, 2006, the video was to be used as a demo for Ham and Mike. However, Mike liked it so much he decided to make “New Words” a double disc release. The video conveys the dynamics between the two players well. One can truly see how much they enjoy playing with each other.

Bourne Media provided technical direction, camera work, editing, and DVD compilation for this piece. It was made in collaboration with Adventure Music, Concerts4Charity, Maria Camillo, Sonare Recordings, and Villasonica.
